Eastside Memorial FC

2018 Indoor Programs & Registration

PRE-SEASON ROSTERS ARE POSTED HERE

The Eastside Memorial FC offers a competitive/development program for age groups U6-U19 as well as an in-house program for new U8-U10 players and a play to learn program for 3 to 5 year olds. Our programs focus on Long Term Player Development (LTPD) which is in alignment with Alberta Soccer Association (ASA) guidelines. Our technical instructors have National and Provincial Level training and work in collaboration with our coaches to develop teams as well as players. The Executive and technical instructors are constantly making connections, both national and international,  creating opportunities for our premier players in El Salvador, Netherlands, Europe, US and Canada.

The technical program offered through EMFC is what sets our program apart from surrounding clubs thus resulting in our teams' accomplishments such as National and Provincial representation, League and City finals and overall tournament success. The club is working towards streamlining our coaches' program through in-house coach training, hands-on technical sessions and team/coach evaluations. We feel that a strong support system for our players will only enhance their growth and development not only on the field but off the field as well.

EMFC is moving into a new 10,000 sq. ft. soccer development centre this fall - home to our exclusive Under 4/5/6 Play to Learn instructional program as well as home to our fitness programs, technical training, younger team practices and small-sided soccer opportunities

While keeping our members in mind, recognizing the increasing costs of business, technical and fitness training, and CMSA league costs,as well as the increased costs arising from our expanded training facility, we have endeavored to keep our base registration competitive We are introducing a multi-tier technical fee structure that includes team technical and fitness sessions and the appropriate tier level charges. For those who require financial support we offer a number of payment options – on-line installment plan, post-dated cheques, possible financial assistance from Kidsport and Jumpstart. There are also opportunities to participate in our Bingo and Casino Loyalty program to receive credit towards fees or team gear. Also continuing this season is a $50 family discount, for those who have three (3) or more players registered with our program.

We believe that RESPECT is the foundation of our program to ensure the game is played for LIFE.
Soccer is the largest participation sport in Canada and the world, providing healthy physical activity for players at all levels of ability.  Along with teamwork, soccer teaches participants fundamental movement skills, fundamental sport skills and the ABCs – agility, balance, coordination and speed – of physical literacy.

Families applying for Kidsport or Jumpstart are asked to register by September 22  to allow for processing time.
For any applications submitted after September 22, the families will have to pay the full registration fee and then submit their application. If Kidsport or Jumpstart approves the application, EMFC will then issue a refund cheque to the family.
(see Subsidy Information). Registrations completed by September 8 qualify for a $25 early bird discount!
